Episode 14: How To Survive A Narcissistic Romance

Alla Branzburg, LCSW joins me for an in-depth discussion about narcissistic personality disorder and her work with couples where one or both partners have this diagnosis.  Alla shares her perspective on how the relationship is impacted by narcissistic tendencies and shares tools with how too cope. 

ABOUT ALLA BRANZBURG

Alla Branzburg, MSW, LCSW is an Adjunct Professor, psychotherapist and Life Coach.  She is specializing in relationships, including couple and family therapy, and co-occurring disorders in clinical practice with individuals, couples, and families. Mrs. Branzburg is also providing Life Coaching Services for the individuals and business, assisting her clients in reaching their maximum potential and self-realization in achieving both, professional and personal goals. 

Mrs. Alla Branzburg has joined the USC School of Social Work, University of Southern California as a part time professor in 2012.  Mrs. Branzburg is holding a Masters Degree in Social work from the University of Utah, SLC, UT.

For the last sixteen years Mrs. Branzburg worked extensively in a wide variety of settings.  They included the inpatient psychiatric unit of the Northridge Hospital Medical Center, Northridge, CA, ten years as a Clinical Director for the Independence Community Treatment Clinic (ICTC) as well as trainer and a supervisor for the interns and trainees from the MFT and MSW Programs from the California State University, Northridge and Phillips Graduate Institute, and Social Work Associates from the various MSW programs.  Mrs. Branzburg had also facilitated Incest Survivors groups at Valley Women Center and the ICTC and is currently a therapist for the Victims of Violent Crimes, District Attorney Office.  She was trained by the California Problem Gambling Treatment Services Program (CPGTSP) to provide treatment to the clients with the problem gambling addiction.  Mrs. Branzburg maintains a private practice in Woodland Hills, CA.  She had served on the Board of Directors of the Jewish Family Center, Salt Lake City, UT and is currently involved with various non-profit organizations in Los Angeles, CA as a lecturer and group facilitator.
